Artists

An Innovative Consulting Service
by the founder of Studio Sarah Records

_MG_9873Studio Sarah Records, the brain child of Sarah Elizabeth Foster, released and promoted Sarah's debut album, Gardening from the Ground Up Part 1, utilizing cutting edge digital methods. Along the way, Sarah has learned how to navigate her way independently within the music industry. She has taught herself how to harness the world of social media and is now ready to share her expertise with other artists.

An independent artist can hire a producer and a graphic designer, make an album, form a band, hire a life coach and publicist, but who's going to teach the artist how to use twitter without alienating followers, or how to harness facebook beyond the artist's close circle of friends? Maybe the artist has uploaded music to Tunecore or CD Baby, but what about selling ringtones? Without a record label, artists have to create the systems as they go and that's how Sarah made her way.

Sarah holds a degree in Music Business with a minor in Finance from the University of Miami. In many ways it's Sarah's ongoing observations of the music industry, during and after the release of her debut album, that has taught her the most. It's the real world experiences, not taught in the classroom, that have enabled Sarah to establish herself as an independent artist.

Not only does Sarah attend music industry conferences and panel discussions, but she also frequents NYC tech events to keep up with trends, so new, that the music industry has not yet adopted them.

Through Sarah's community of musician friends, she realized that her knowledge would be invaluable in propelling the careers of other artists and has decided to offer her knowledge on a consulting basis. She wants to give you the knowledge that took her years to learn, and she knows better than anyone...no one can understand an artist like another artist.
